Leeds Woodland Creation consultation outcome

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your patience while we have been putting together the consultation and re-working maps to find the best fit plan for each site. We have taken into account all the feedback we have received as well as comments from community groups and local ward councillors to finalise our plans for the year. Please see below for a list of cancelled and amended sites, these have now been removed from and updated on Commonplace respectively and all new plans are available to view here: https://leedswoodlandcreation.commonplace.is/.

Please note that these are now the final plans for planting season 2022 and we are organising dates to plant the sites between November and February.

Consultation update

Hello all!

Thank you very much for all your comments and feedback regarding the tree planting sites, this feedback is very much appreciated, and will all be considered as we confirm which sites will go ahead and which are cancelled.

We are currently in the process of compiling the results of the consultation and confirming which sites are going ahead, need re-mapping, or are cancelled based on your responses. The feedback of this will be released as soon as possible, but by the end of September.

Please bear with us while we do this, we have a small team and have had nearly 1300 responses and nearly another 150 emails in response to these proposals!
